Expression Number
|
Yours is the most
highly charged Expression number of all. You
are like a lightning rod, attracting powerful
ideas, intuition, and even psychic information
like unpredictable bolts. You are a powerful
presence without any awareness on your part
of having personal power.
You are a channel
for higher vibrations. But in order to be emotionally
and psychologically at peace, you must learn
to control that flow of energy. You possess
a bridge between the i\unconscious and the conscious.
The trouble is that the unconscious is an infinite
resource, while the conscious, by definition,
is a limited arena. The two are therefore at
odds until they can learn to live in harmony
with each other. This is where control comes
in. Until you are able to control the flow of
energy from this infinite source, you may feel
like a victim of its whimsy, thrown about by
emotional turmoil and nervous tensions.
You have always sensed
that you are different, but it is an undefinable
feeling. You are enormously sensitive and aware,
especially as a child. This makes you vulnerable
to all conflicts and painful situations. For
most of your upbringing, however, you did not
realize that other people did not possess the
same sensitivity, or see the same things you
were seeing. This caused a great reservoir of
emotion that was dammed up behind an inability
to express your feelings, even to yourself.
For this reason, most 11 Expressions have a
difficult childhood. Your extreme sensitivity
made you very shy as a child. This usually manifests
in adulthood as hesitation and acute vulnerability.
You are very careful
about sharing your feelings with others, and
aboug choosing your friends. You compensated
for your sense of separation in childhood by
creating an elaborate fantasy world. You daydreamed
more than other children. You have a lively
imagination, and even in adulthood have a hard
time separating reality from fantasy. Your challenge
is to bring forth your primitive, earthy strength.
You need to be grounded in order to deal with
your lightning bolts. The more you are able
to call upon your inherent human strength, the
greater is your capacity to take advantage of
your extremely sensitive awareness. Once this
is accomplished, your antagonist becomes your
benefactor. You are highly emotional and dependent
upon relationships. Emotionally, you go up and
down with the fortunes of your love life. You
are idealistic, impractical, and at times disorderly.
You are often unrealistic
in your expectations. Your reasons for doing
things are usually born of a mixture of logic,
emotion, and intuition, which can rarely be
explained satisfactorily to your more rational
associates. The 11 Expression is the number
most dependent upon other core numbers in your
chart for insight into your vocation. The 11
charges every area it enters, but it needs a
grounding vocation and discipline to be effective.
A balanced 11 is one of the most unique and
impressive of all people. It is gifted with
insight and illumination, which it can transmit
to others. This makes you a natural teacher
in whatever area you enter.

22
Expression Number
|
You are the Master
Builder. You possess a unique gift for perceiving
something in the archetypal world ~ infinite
and divine ~ and for making some semblance of
it manifest on earth. You dream big. Every goal
you have is enormous in scope. You dream of
creating something that will last for centuries.
Your desire is to change history. You want to
make your mark on human civilization. There
is no limit to what you are capable of, nor
to what you dream of doing. Of all the numbers,
yours possess the greatest potential for accomplishment.
At the same time, you possess the greatest liability.
What it will require of you to fulfill your
potential is nothing less than your entire life.
Even as a child, you have a vague sense of what
you must do, and you have always been deeply
intimidated by the awesomeness of your task.
You have felt the intimations of your power.
But these feelings have caused you to be paralyzed
by doubt. You must advance well into adulthood
before you can begin to make use of your power,
and truly commit to your destiny. The promise
and reward of your Expression is equalled only
by the degree of difficulty and struggle necessary
to realize its potential. The number 22 offers
those who fully realize it a chance to jump
into another dimension in which your day is
expanded, your capacity to create and inspire
multiplied, and your ability to perform lasting
service to mankind extended beyond the normal
limits of one life. You may turn away from the
challenge you face for the safety of limitations
and practical considerations of the 4 (22 reduced
to a 4 Expression). You may not want to take
the great risks that the 22 presents. Instead,
you may try to content yourself with limited
achievements, telling yourself that your big
dreams are unrealistic fantasies. This can cause
some frustration, because on some level, you
feel called to great things. Nevertheless, your
chances to be successful, even when you limit
your efforts, are still good. You have great
leadership abilities. You are persistent. You
also refuse to back down in the face of a challenge.
You like to work in large enterprises and on
an international scale. Borders or racial identities
mean little to you. You see yourself as a world
citizen, playing on the planet, and refuse to
be limited by petty conventions. You should
marry someone who does not depend on you for
entertainment; rather, choose a spouse who can
participate with you, but can also provide an
independent contribution to your goals. You
are blessed with a farsighted vision. Your efforts
are directed toward great accomplishments and
long-standing progress. You deeply want to create
a great edifice that will make a lasting contribution,
and you have all the tools necessary to do just
that. In choosing a career direction, there
are no real limitations for the 22 Expression;
the field is wide open.

The Minor Expression Number
The influence of the short name is minor in comparison
to your full name. Interestingly, the short name often
compensates in some way for numbers (and their related
characteristics) that are missing or out of balance
in the full name. For instance, a number missing in
the full name may show up prominently in the short name;
or a number (or numbers) that appear in excess in the
full name can be compensated for in the short name.
If a name change takes place later in life through marriage
or for professional reasons, it adds or subtracts certain
qualities. It can also focus and intensify existing
characteristics or talents that may be latent.
As a rule, the author recommends
that you don't change your name on impulse. Marriage,
of course, does not leave much room for choice, although
more and more women are hyphenating their names or staying
with their maiden names. However, if you must change
your name (for professional reasons, for example), try
to choose a name already in your family, and thus connected
to you through your ancestors. Those characteristics
are already present in your lineage, which makes the
new name easier to assimilate into your personality.
Whenever you consider changing
your name, the bet guide is your own intuition.
Discussing name changes
or various names for a newborn child with a numerologist
can be helpful. But never allow someone else ~ including
a numerologist ~ to design a name for you.
In answer to some commonly
asked questions when it comes to short names:
~ The short name is the name you feel closest to in
relaxed and social settings.
~ The short name is the name you would use when thinking
about yourself, including your last name. Who
are you? What name best describes the inner you?
~ When figuring out the Minor Expression number, never
use the middle initial, unless you introduce yourself
with that initial, such as, "Hi, I'm Tom J. Hancock."
~ Names you have used in the past reveal inner feelings
and characteristics thatwere prominent during that period
of your life. If you are no longer using that name,
it bears no resemblance to your current identity.
To find your Minor Expression
number, use the same formula used to find the Expression
number.
Add the numbers of your first
name and reduce them to a single digit. Do the same
with your last name, then add the two digits together
and reduce them to a single digit to arrive at your
Minor Expression number.
For example, Thomas John
Hancock usually introduces himself as Tom Hancock. This
results in the following:
T o m |
2, 6, 4
~> Total = 12; 1 + 2 = 3 |
H a n c
o c k |
8, 1, 5,
3, 6, 3, 2 ~> 28; 2 + 8 = 10 = 1 |
|
Tom Hancock's
Minor Expression number is 3 + 1 = 4 |
Your Minor Expression number,
as with all other numbers derived from the name you
use on a daily basis, reveals a more superficial you.

"In real life,"
my name gives me an 8 Expression number. Coincidentally,
my short name (the name I use to introduce myself) gives
me an 8 Minor Expression number. Further coincidence...?
"Bear In Mind"
though not my given name at birth (tee-hee, tee-hee)
would be considered a nickname or short name, and it
also adds to an 8, and I'd look at the 8 Minor Expression
FOR FUN.
I understand some may create
their IDs based on the numbers, and good golly, Miss
Molly, 92 would be a wonderful number to create an ID
to use at Spirit Lodge, wouldn't it In my point of view
though, creating an ID based on numbers is more like
creating an illusion. Speaking of creating IDs, it's
ironic to note that I didn't do the numbers on "Bear
In Mind" but only realized it's an 8 when I recently
did the Double-Digit thread.
Further coincidence....?
"Sister Cyber" and "Bear In Mind"
come to the same (Minor) Expression number! And that
was not purposefully done as a numerologist ~ isn't
that funny?
I'm not going to list the
IDs in this thread, but if you'd like to share your
numbers on your real name or your Minor number on your
short name, please do! And if you need any assistance,
I'm happy to help.
Marila:
Your
name is your true vibration, the melody of your soul
as it passes through that door in time and entered this
world. Your name represents the inheritance of your
personal history up to the moment of your birth. Whatever
that history is, it has shaped you into what you are.
All what is shared in
the book is based on this assumption. "But"
"if" this assumption is not "the latest
truth" - what then? It is human and therefore a
mind´s interest to investigate and to "grasp"
what is beyond words. Mind wants to hold the domination
and to "explain", "to know", to
"grasp" - even what cannot be understood...
To put Creation in a number, this is what the domination
of the Mind craves for... Also this is what the domination
of the mind wishes to do... (*giggle* Also an assumption..
.*hehe* But for this me not more far away than the assumption
given in the book you quoted here...)
The "mind´s
system to try to understand" is not what "transcendence"
means, to step over the domination of the Mind. It is
said (another assumption... *grin*), that "real
knowing" is beyond words and thoughts - in the
"talking silence", what cannot be put in words.
It only can be experienced...
(...another assumption given; which one is "the"
one...? *smile*)... As vibration is not only what is
expressed by human sounds (and also different nations
are able to pronounce different sounds, look at the
Aboriginal people or at the non-existing alphabet for
many Native People) - many aspects are not held by this
attempt to give a "mind´s system" to
"grasp" the vibration of names.
Many sounds even cannot
be included in an alphabet - they naturally drop out
of the system given by the author somehow... There is
a lot behind the heard vibration - a vibration that
not all people can hear, but that nevertheless is there
(for some these vibrations open up to be heard). And
some even say that in the end the only heard vibration
for all creation is "one sound" - a kind like
"hummmmmm"... *smile*
Therefore all this is
interesting what is quoted from the book you offered
- but for this me not "the latest truth" -
as the basic assumption given in the book you published
here is toooo "narrow" for this me. I just
wanted to share this - as it is interesting, but not
for me holding all what is in names and behind names...
And for me it is the basic thing to look at what a "system"
might offer as help or not first - in order not to lose
too much time and energy in running in circles... Thank
you for sharing - it sounds interesting, though... Each
one will find what is appropriate for the individual...
(This is no judging here, just what it is for me. As
it is from an author what you shared here, there is
nothing "personal" about "you"...)
Okay, I tried it with
"God". As God can be asked inside, I did this
- and the answer for this me was "OKAY, publish
it - as it is mirroring "all in one" - there
is no fixation to anything around God. You can not fix
God...":
"God" (English):
As far as I get it, he is number 8...
"Dieu" (French):
Here God/Dieu is number 3, as far as I understand...
"Gott" (German):
Again God/Dieu/Gott should be 8...
"Deus" (Latin):
As far as I got he is number 4...
I wonder if the expression
of God/Dieu/Gott/Deus is what God/Dieu/Gott/Deus is
for the countries...
It is interesting that
God did not hit the most energetic numbers, though,
like "11 Expression Number: Yours is the most highly
charged Expression number of all. You are like a lightning
rod, attracting powerful ideas, intuition, and even
psychic information like unpredictable bolts. You are
a powerful presence without any awareness on your part
of having personal power. You are a channel for higher
vibrations..." May be God is out of numbers...It
was interesting on this abstract level to walk through
this experience...
Mouse:
This is a shamanism board, and numerology can be useful
to gain understanding of, or offer a deeper insight
into one's name. This thread is not a debate thread
about the validity of numerology, nor is Spirit Lodge
a debate board to argue validity of any personal perspective.
If it doesn't do anything for you, then please do not
attempt to invalidate or derail the entire thread or
its meaning for others. If you have questions about
numerology, then this is not the board for it. Perhaps
you would like to contact Hans and ask him those questions
since it is his writing, and his specialty. Or perhaps
go to a numerology board to ask them about their understanding
of the validity of numerology.
In the mean time I am enjoying
playing around with the information you brought Bear
In Mind. My expression number is 1, and my minor expression
number is 6. Interestingly enough, Mouse is also 1,
and Cedar Rose is 7. Both appear to be on target as
to what I was/am learning while working with their energy.
I have also applied it to a name I am working with privately
and was pleasantly reminded of the exact reason that
the name was born. Thanks!
Marila:
(Mouse, I do not feel you talk to this me in your
post. I just wanted to write this, in order not to be
said not to have read the post and not to have reacted...)
Thank you for the direct link to the author - this might
be very interesting to contact the source directly...
A good idea! Thank you!
Christine:
I'm
an 11 - very interesting information! Thanks for posting!
Love
and light, Christine I offer you peace.
I offer you love.
I offer you friendship.
I see your beauty.
I hear your need.
I feel your feelings.
My wisdom flows from the Highest Source.
I salute that Source in you. Let us work together for
unity and love
(Mahatma Gandhi, Prayer for Peace)
Marila:
As I have difficulties with names for work with people
(I love "open tools" like shamanic journey,
face-to-face-work and, and, and...), up to now I tried
the numerology (as a for me more a kind of "prescriptive
tool") for words.
It is interesting for me
that the vibration of "bad words" is so "positive"
according to numerology - and that not each "good
word" has a kind of most positive certificate according
to numerology...
For example:
Peace: 3 (...optimistic, inspiring, outgoing, and expressive,
cheerful, positive, charming...)
War: 6 (... loving and caring (...) with a tendency
to put the needs of others before those of yourself...)
good: 5 (...free spirit, love change, adventure, and
excitement, love your freedom. Like a bird that needs
its wings to live, you cannot exist without it....)
bad: 7 (...gifted with an analytical mind and an enormous
appetite for the answers to life's hidden questions...)
I wonder where words we
use in daily life were created and where they came from?
Which vibration do words hold in general? Even a bad/good
word might hold the opposite meaning according to numerology...
This is interesting...
Mouse:
Mari, those are not names. This thread is about the
expression number of names. The numerological value
of words is an entirely different aspect and study of
numerology than that of names. If you do not wish to
try this out on your name, then please do not participate
in this thread. If you want to debate or argue Numerology's
validity or origins, please find an appropriate board
to do so. It is not here.
Marila:
Mouse, I did not know... I was getting insight for
me to work with numerology on words.. It was many insights
and this way the thread held Beauty for me... If it
is that you are not wishing this me to get insight this
way, I may change to another place...
Mouse:
You are free to discuss numerological value of words
in a new thread Mari. There are numerology articles
in the library that will offer insight into basic numerological
meaning, instead of those for names.
Marila:
...have had the eyes there, Mouse, I know the other
topics about numerology. Thank you for the advice, though...
I tried to learn from this topic, too, what came to
this me...May you all be to learn what is meant for
you - wherever learning has to happen, it will happen...
SisterCyber:
If it doesn't do anything for you, then please
do not attempt to invalidate or derail the entire thread
or its meaning for others. If you have questions about
numerology, then this is not the board for it. Perhaps
you would like to contact Hans and ask him those questions
since it is his writing, and his specialty.
I
agree with mouse, 8 Marila. Hans is very approachable,
and I'm sure he'd be happy to discuss what he has shared
with you. I have his email address. Let me know if you
want it. Welcome to SpiritLodge, Hearts Light
May
you all be to learn what is meant for you - wherever
learning has to happen, it will happen...
Well
said, and well taken... at least by me Numerology may
not pique everyone's interest. Witchcraft may not pique
everyone's interest. Shamanism may not pique everyone's
interest.... To each his or her own, and follow what
pique's your own interest. Numerology is my interest,
so I post about it, happy to see people have enjoyed
it.
Marila:
Answering to BIMs post: Numerology, "What your
name means", "If You Have An Email Account,
Now You Too Can Receive a FREE Sample Of One of the
Most Strikingly Accurate Numerology Readings You Will
Ever Read", "Your Source for Free Numerology
Online", "Numerology - A Reading by the True
Master" and, and, and... BIM, there is so much
about this topic around - everyone who is "not"
asking in order for a serious approach here - it might
be more hurt than help... Whatever the topic is: From
my experience one should ask before jumping in. Like
with Ouija boards (it was discussed here, too) - like
for Tarot (we had it discussed here, too) and and and...
If you want people to "believe" what you share,
to "follow" you - not to "work with what
you share" - then it might be that they follow
blindly. But does it really help them to step into own
freedom? Allow them to approach the topic "their
way" - they might find out the own Beauty in it...
And if you want them to deepen the relationship to the
topic and to grow: Let them ask. If you react aggressive
or not willing to answer - why? It is a mirroring aspect
happening - and this can be helpful for all sides. Is
it helpful to send interested people away? (The funny
thing is - that often a "Go away!" brings
so much insight, as there is Beauty waiting "outside"
one would not easily have found without the "invitation"
to go and search elsewhere...) By the way: I found so
many online calculators. May be they help to calculate
the name easier. Or is it that there are many numerologies?
But: Which one is "the one", then? Some online
calculators: www.paulsadowski.com/Numbers.asp (I typed
in "God", too - and the "inherent number"
is 11... Interesting. God, you are full of miracles...
*smile*) astrology.newkerala.com/numerology/ (Scroll
down a bit...) www.numerology-free.com/ Bye to you,
too... May you enjoy life in all is aspects... It is
good to see that numerology is a path that found you
- and that you found it. If others find it is "their
path", too, this is beautiful, too - as all is
beautiful what is helpful... Each one will be supported
the very individual way - by God/Great Spirit... We
do not have to worry at all...
SisterCyber:
Okay, thanks, 8 Marila. If it don't apply, then let
it fly....
I
love this: I am enjoying playing around with the
information you brought Bear In Mind. My expression
number is 1, and my minor expression number is 6. Interestingly
enough, Mouse is also 1, and Cedar Rose is 7. Both appear
to be on target as to what I was/am learning while working
with their energy. I have also applied it to a name
I am working with privately and was pleasantly reminded
of the exact reason that the name was born. Thanks!
I'm glad to know you're having fun with it, Mouse!
Years
ago I used to do charts for people close to me and it
never ceased to amaze me how near-accurate and close
to the mark they turned out to be! Then why *they* read
the information, what they saw sparked interest in wanting
more.... "Could you do my son's...? My aunt's...?
My father's...? My wife's...? My boss...? My cat's...?"
:woo Yes, I've done animals :nod My own, that is :fun
I had a cat that I named Gypsy years ago. Although I
didn't know her birth day, shortly after I named her
Gypsy, I thought I'd change her name to something based
on numerological value. I wondered if by changing her
name it would somehow change her attitude and mannerisms.
The name I gave her was something like Vyguwicki (can't
remember exactly how I'd spelled it at the time) and
sounded like "vig-oo-wikee"
Well,
the new name didn't exactly roll off the tongue so fluently,
didn't change her attitude or mannerisms, it didn't
really "sound right" in the air (if you know
what I mean), so back she went to Gibbering Gypsy.
If
you're having that much fun with it mouse, If you get
some free time (and I know that's a scarce commodity),
why not see what the names and birth days for your spouse
and the boys add up to.... for fun.
